ANDREW “JASON” ROGERS

Andrew “Jason” Rogers, age 49, was born on April 11, 1971 in Harrisonville, MO, and died on November 26, 2020 in Holden, MO.

Jason spent the majority of his life in the Kingsville/Holden area.

As a young man, Jason worked at the Veneer Plant in Pleasant Hill, MO and the Essex Plant in Holden, MO.

Jason was the proud father of three children, Zach Rogers, Rachel Rogers and Austin Rogers, all of Holden, MO.

Jason has five grandchildren, Karsyn Barwick, Brantley Barwick, Quentin Rogers, Zander Rogers and Zoey Rogers, all of Holden, MO.

Jason also has five siblings, Glen Rogers, Randy Rogers, both of Holden, MO, Jeff Rogers of Kingsville, MO, Della McDaniel of Maryland, and Bobby Rogers, who preceded Jason in death; as well as numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Jason was also preceded in death by his parents, Robert Rogers and Mary (Bryant) Rogers.

Although Jason fought many demons, he never gave up hope to change his life.

A little known fact was that Jason had a desire to be a pastor.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the Forward Community Church, 298 MO-13, in Holden, MO with Pastor Dexter Snyder and Pastor Tim Whitmore officiating.
