Larry “Keith” Johnson, 71, of Blairstown, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at his son Justin’s home in Grain Valley, Missouri.
Keith was born December 6, 1948 in Harrisonville, Missouri, the son of Isaac “Ike” Farnsworth Johnson and Lela Loraine (Prewitt) Johnson. He was raised in Holden, having graduated from Holden High School.
Keith then attended CMSU and graduated with a BS. He married Kathryn R. Hubbard on May 7, 1977 in Kingsville. The couple made their home in Latour prior to moving north of Holden. They divorced in the early 1990s.
He married Lisa Joy Beck in November of 2008. He was a nurse for some local care centers prior to becoming involved in home health.
Keith was very dedicated to the RLDS Church. He enjoyed camping and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Joy Beck; four sons, Joshua Johnson (Heather) of Holden, MO; Jeremy Johnson (Valerie) of Garden City, MO; Justin Johnson (Amber) of Grain Valley, MO and Jordan Johnson (Meghan) of Garden City, MO; nine grandchildren, Dylan, Jace, Jude, Reece, Ethan, Jade, Rebkah, Brooke and Natalie; and sister, Karen Johnson of Latour.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Karla Johnson; and a granddaughter.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 23 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden with Elder Dan Hubbard officiating.
The family received friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be left to the Show-Me Christian Youth Home at La Monte, in care of the funeral home.
