GERALDYNE “WILLINA” (COPENHAVER) DISHMAN

Geraldyne “Willina” (Copenhaver) Dishman, 99, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 at Addington Place of Lee’s Summit, MO. She was born on November 27, 1920 in Holden, MO, the daughter of Curtis W. and Mabel Inez (Howard) Copenhaver. In Warrensburg in 1939, Willina was united in marriage to William Edward Dishman, who preceded her in death. Willina was a Civil Servant for the Social Security Administration. She was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Raytown Christian Church in Raytown, MO. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Hayden and husband Robert of Sedalia, MO, and Donna Blair and husband Larry of Lee’s Summit, MO; five grandchildren, Cathy van der Linden and husband Jim, Bobby Hayden and wife Kim, Scott Blair and wife Leslie, Steve Blair and wife Ashley, and Sally Zinevich and husband Matt; and 12 great-grandchildren. A private family-only Graveside Memorial Service will be held on May 1, 2020 at the Holden Cemetery, Holden, MO with Pastor Rob Hughes officiating, reading of the eulogy by Adella Lunsford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice of Independence, MO. Cremation entrusted to Campbell-Cast Funeral Home, Holden, MO.
